The Value of Hard Work and Experience

Kent Bowen is a seasoned Wealth Manager and Partner at Kingsview Partners, where he operates his independent practice in Amarillo, Texas. With 24 years of experience, Kent transitioned to Kingsview’s independent platform in 2023 after a distinguished career at Edward Jones. Raised on a farm near Roswell, New Mexico, Kent developed a strong work ethic and a commitment to integrity that he applies daily in his financial practice.

“I understand the value of hard work and want to be sure that people see the fruits of their labor,” says Kent. “I am blessed to have a career that allows me to help people meet their goals, and I get to be a part of their lives. God gives us all talents and abilities, and we’re lucky when we can use them to help others.” Kent’s educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.

The Power of Strong Relationships

Kent works with a select group of highly successful individuals, business owners, and professionals who aspire to achieve a work-optional lifestyle. His consultative approach involves identifying clients’ current financial positions, mapping out their goals, and addressing potential obstacles along the way.

“Our clients and their families trust us with the most intimate details of their lives, and that’s not something I take lightly,” Kent shares. “This deep understanding allows me to help them work toward achieving what is most important to them. I just enjoy getting to know people and helping them succeed. The friendship and love that develops from forming these relationships is incredibly rewarding.”

The Right Wealth Manager for Your Needs

Kent’s refined process starts with a discovery meeting where he listens carefully to understand each client’s needs and priorities. From there, he provides full transparency in his recommendations:

– If you’re working with another financial advisor who is doing a great job, Kent may advise you to stay put.
– If there are gaps that demonstrate a good fit, Kent will invite you to join his family of clients.
– If he believes you need a change but isn’t the right fit, Kent will personally recommend a financial advisor better suited to your situation.

“It really comes down to doing right by the client, every time,” says Kent.

On a Personal Note

Kent is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, with his personal life defined by the quality of his relationships. He has been married to his wife, Tycie, for 41 years and is the proud father of five successful children and 13 grandchildren. Kent shares office space with two of his children, Ashby and Trevin, who are also Kingsview Wealth Managers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid hunter.

Navigating Medicare

As a consumer, it’s important to know the basics about Medicare. However, we realize it can be confusing to determine which plan will work best for you – so that’s why Medicare BackOffice® is here to help.

What is Medicare?

Medicare is health insurance for people age 65 or older, under age 65 with certain disabilities and people of any age with end-stage renal disease. Below, we will explain the four parts of Medicare — Part A, Part B, Part C and Part D.

It’s important that you understand the different components of Medicare and carefully weigh your choices. Why? Because your decision will impact many things, from what you pay and which benefits are available to you, to which doctors you can see and the quality of care you receive.

You Have Several Options, Depending on Where You Live. You Can:

– Elect Original Medicare

– Elect Original Medicare and add drug coverage with a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan

– Substitute a private Medicare Advantage plan for Original Medicare

– Substitute a private Medicare Advantage plan that also includes Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage in place of Original Medicare (resulting in an “MA-PD” plan)

– Elect Original Medicare, add a Medicare Supplement insurance plan to pay for any gaps in coverage and add drug coverage with a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan

We understand deciding on a Medicare health plan is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in retirement. We’re here to help.
